Hi everyone! Amit is too tired to post this week (something about walking) so I’m going to fill in. My name is Tau Hernandez. If you’re not sure who I am, maybe you know my parents, Paige and Carlos, their last name is Hernandez too, cool huh? And if you still don’t know who I am, here is my picture:

Amit told me this weeks post had to be about his best friend, but he didn’t specify human or canine, so here it is, everything you’ve ever wanted to know about me, Tauy!
As I already said, my name is Tau! I’m a two year old, yellow, labrador retriever, and as you can see above, I’m the cutest dog you’ve ever seen! But my life isn’t all about sitting still and taking pretty pictures, but for those who didn’t know, here is a little about me:
I like: my mom and dad, food, sleeping and being lazy, playing with my toys, things that don’t belong to me, other dogs, sun bathing, going on walks, drinking water from my bowl, drinking water from the hose, swimming, and other things that involve water. I also like butt rubs, legs rubs, arm rubs, belly rubs, the occasional pat on the head and did I mention butt rubs? Yeah butt rubs, that’s the stuff.
I dislike: motorcycles, vacumns, that one punk skateborder that lives in my neighborhood, and evil birds that think they own my yard.
I’m a complicated puppy, but the way to my heart is through butt rubs and toys. Amit’s mission in life is to get me toys that I can’t rip apart. He has found some, but unfortunately the sturdier the toy, the less cool it is. He did find a decent balance with my last birthday gift. I turned two in May and Amit got me a dinosaur!

Mom and Amit named him Tri, they’re always naming thing. Here are some more pictures of Tri and I:

Me getting acquainted with my new toy.

I didn’t do it.

I always go for the vunerable parts first.

I’m one determined puppy.

It’s not going well so I’ll try cornering him.

This could take a while.
I’ve since done a little better in my quest to destroy Tri, but he has held up decently.
When I’m not ripping up my toys I’m usually ripping up something else. Here is a picture of me after a game of tear up the pillow.

I’m pretty sure I won.
But in all seriousness I’m not always destroying things. Sometimes I’m calm, like when I watch t.v. with my mom:

but mostly this is what I do:

Aren’t I precious?
Before I finish, I would like to say some words about the two most important people in my life, my mom and dad.
I love my dad because he always plays with me. We have a lot of fun with hide and seek. I’m a great seeker, way better than that Harry Potter guy (he’s not even a dog!). But my favorite game is fetch. For you young pups out there that don’t know the rules, let me explain. When you play fetch someone throws something and you have to go find it and rip it apart. But my dad doesn’t like to play that much anymore. Now we play this new game where he throws something and I have to find it and bring it back to him. Weird huh? But he’s only human, what do you expect?
I love my mom because she lets me do whatever I want, especially if dad’s not around. And whenever she has a lazy moment she lets me enjoy it with her. Amit really meant for this post to be about her, but then I took over. So to make it up to him I’ll leave you with one last picture. This is from my younger years when I was more of a poser.

Everyone should leave comments and tell Amit that I need to post more. If you don’t say anything I’ll just have to use my puppy dog eyes on him, it never fails!
